In February this year, the Skills Plus national competitions were held in Italy for the ‘Hospitality and Catering’ category. Three teams, each consisting of three participants with disabilities and a coach, competed in the preparation and mise en place of delicious food! The competition took place in San Cataldo, a town in the province of Caltanissetta (Sicily) where the Cirpe training centre is located. Cirpe, in collaboration with New Service, the Italian partner in the project, organised the competitions and disseminated them on the organisation’s web and social networks.
