The journey of Skills 3.0 is one marked by growth, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to inclusion. What began in 2014 as Paraskills with six pioneering countries has evolved into a transformative initiative, expanding to 10 countries in 2016 and now reaching its third edition with eight countries, welcoming both new participants from Romania and Lithuania and seasoned veterans from previous experiences and since we’re at a new edition, we’ve given our logo a fresh new look with a complete redesign.
As we embark on this latest chapter of the Skills 3.0 journey, we are excited to announce our plans for the upcoming year. We anticipate hosting eight national events, culminating in a final European competition in Burgh-Haamstede, the Netherlands. This event promises to be a celebration of talent, determination, and the boundless potential of individuals with disabilities.
In our ongoing efforts to support participants, we are committed to creating a digital manual for sheltered workshops and buddies. This resource will provide invaluable guidance and support, ensuring that individuals receive the assistance they need to thrive in the workforce.
Additionally, there will be the creation of a practical toolkit dedicated to employers and HR departments. This toolkit will equip them with the resources and tools necessary to create a more inclusive environment, fostering diversity, accessibility, and belonging in the workplace.
